Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and an active PA or compact license required if applicable.

• Hospital-based MRI unit
• 8 days on, 6 days off rotation averaging 40 hours per week
• Shifts vary between 6 and 12 hours across the rotation, generally between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM
• Works every other weekend
• On-call approximately once per month with weekday coverage through 9:00 PM

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• Active PA or compact license required if applicable
• AHA-issued certifications only accepted
• Cerner experience preferred
• Driver's license, SSN, and DOB required for consideration

• Must be willing to float within the hospital based on specialty needs
• Must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Background, licensing, or fingerprinting concerns must be disclosed prior to consideration
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
• Travelers who complete a cumulative year within the health system must wait 2 years before returning
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24–48 hours of signing
• First 8 hours of orientation are required along with about 1 hour of pre-start modules
