You will operate multiple MRI scanners (Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, Espree 1.5T) in a high-volume setting, with 3x12 hour day shifts and weekend/holiday coverage. The assignment runs 13 weeks with orientation provided.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Must be able to start IVs.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in a Level I Trauma center radiology department.
• Start IVs as needed.
• Operate Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T scanners.
• Handle 35–40 scans per day.
• Work with in-house daytime radiologist; night coverage by residents.
• Rotate 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM; weekends/holidays required.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS (transitioning to Merge).
• No floating outside MRI.

Details

• Acute care setting within a Level I Trauma center's Radiology/MRI department
• Department has 3 scanners: Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T
• Performs a wide range of imaging studies including cardiac, breast, and some angio
• Average of 35-40 scans/studies per day
• In-house radiologist during the day, resident coverage at night
• 3x12 hour rotating day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, days vary per week
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Call or standby requirement to back up overnight staff for PTO or call-outs
• EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS system (transitioning to Merge)
• No floating required outside of MRI

Additional Information

• Role covers maternity leave with an estimated start in mid-to-late June
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
