Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and Siemens MRI experience for a weekend day shift contract at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• MRI unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes pediatric patients and those requiring anesthesia
• No call required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT (MR) certification required
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or academic teaching facility preferred
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patient populations required
• MRI safety knowledge, including the ability to research implants and adhere to scanning protocols
• Epic EMR and PACS experience preferred
• State license required if applicable
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
