Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires MRI specialization, state license compliance, BLS certification, and a commitment to safety and patient-centered care in a dynamic travel environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• 1 year MRI Tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety per protocol.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as ordered.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document procedure details per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely results.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and follow infection control procedures.
• Follow hospital safety rules including radiation safety.
• Perform other duties within MRI Technologist scope.
