Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, Kentucky.

The role requires completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, state registration, ARRT certification, and about 18 months MRI experience; shifts are nights, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils; inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
