Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Somerset, KY (13 weeks, 40 hours/week). The role requires ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with MR registration, BLS, and 1 year of MRI experience. Expect patient prep, safety screening, image acquisition, and PACS usage.

The position involves 8-hour days, travel assignment details, and a tax-free stipend as applicable. Additional certifications may be needed before starting.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration in MRI, and state licensing when required.
• BLS required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety before procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and protection.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast according to protocol.
• Evaluate MRI scans for quality and label correctly.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
