MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Traverse City, Michigan. The role requires completing an approved two-year School of Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration, with 18 months MRI experience preferred, especially in critical care.

The assignment offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and travel benefits including housing or housing allowance, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• State radiology registration as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors around MRI machines.
• Position patients and coils on table and inside the scanner.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Observe image data on monitors during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a patient-focused, timely, compassionate environment.
