Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in Easley, South Carolina. This 13-week engagement offers 40 hours per week, day shifts. The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with radiologists.

Requirements include 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with licensure as required by state. Travel experience preferred; benefits include weekly pay and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification and MR certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) with registration.
• State-specific licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure safety.
• Assist radiologist and start IVs with contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and label datasets correctly.
• Operate power injectors for contrast administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
