Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bronx, NY. The right candidate has 1 year of MRI experience and the required BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certifications, with state licensing as needed.

You will ensure high-quality imaging and safety while supporting physicians with accurate studies. The role involves 37 hours per week, day shifts, and a travel employment type with a compensation package arranged by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance.
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
• Load and operate contrast media administration equipment.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use the PACS system.
