Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, ensuring image quality, preparing patients, and assisting radiologists. The position features 40 hours weekly, 8-hour days, and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration and state licensing if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image accuracy for physician interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing MRI imaging.
• Confirm patient identity and explain procedures; screen for MRI safety.
• Position patients and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Load/operate contrast media injectors and evaluate image quality.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS/McKesson systems.
