Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. The role runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, primarily evenings. You will perform MRI imaging, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, with state licensing as required. Duties include patient prep, imaging, contrast administration, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety before procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and prepare patients for MRI scans.
• Position patients and ensure safety during MRI procedures.
• Assist radiologists during procedures and administer contrast as directed.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
