TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a Ravenna, Ohio assignment. The role runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week concentrated in the evenings, offering travel benefits and hands-on MRI procedures under supervision. Immediate start preferred for experienced technologists.

The MRI Tech will handle patient prep, safety screening, IV contrast, image quality evaluation, and PACS usage, working with radiologists to ensure accurate studies. A healthcare credentialed background is required.

Qualificações

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsabilidades

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions for MRI procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
• Start IVs, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast administration.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
