Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. The right Rad Tech has 1 year of experience, with a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, evenings shift, and travel employment type.

You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images for physicians. Applicants must have BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Rad Tech must be able to stand and walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment correctly.
• Minimize radiation exposure by using protection protocols.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
