Description

We're looking for a Travel MRI Tech in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Michigan, United States.

As an MRI Technologist, you'll work with some of the best healthcare companies across the US. Contracts range from 12 weeks to a year.

Role:

The successful candidate will function as an MRI Technologist, performing examinations of patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols.
  2. Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
  3. Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  4. Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
  5. Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  6. Review tests with peers and physicians.
  7. Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
  8. Distribute test results to physicians and service providers.
  9. Prepare diagnostic information for interpretation.
  10. Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, and log data.
  11. Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  12. Recognize equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
  13. Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.
  14. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain equipment according to infection control standards.
  16. Participate in continued education and Siemens training programs.
  17. Administer contrast agents under guidance, following protocols.
  18. Maintain current Permits to Practice in all relevant states.
  19. Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  20. Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  21. Perform additional duties as required.
