Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The selected professional will work 36 hours per week, primarily 12-hour days, in a Level III trauma center using a 1.5 Tesla GE Artist MRI scanner and Cerner EHR.

Required are ARRT MR (or ARMRIT), BLS, and an NM license (if applicable), with at least 1 year of MRI experience and familiarity with full-body MRI procedures.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1.5 Tesla GE Artist MRI experience and a minimum of 1 year of MRI experience for a Level III trauma center.

Details

• Work in the MRI Department of a 198-bed hospital
• Patient population includes all ages (adult, geriatric, pediatric)
• Perform full body MRI procedures
• Uses 1.5 Tesla GE Artist MRI scanner
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Shift schedule is 7A-7P, Friday through Sunday
• Periodic on-call required during the week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ARRT CT and Radiography license required
• NM state license required if applicable
• Experience with full body MRI procedures required
