Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and proficiency in all MRI exams for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI Imaging department managing exams for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE Signa 1.5T MRI equipment
• Cerner EMR
• 13-week assignment with day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday-Monday
• Minimal RTO availability, with requests under 1 week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Proficiency in all MRI exam types required
• NM state license and MRI certification required
• License required if applicable
• ARRT registration and MR certification preferred but not required
• Ability to adjust imaging parameters for soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide timely imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Travelers who worked as perm staff at this facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
