Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, Texas. The role documents a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts and travel employment through MedPro Healthcare Staffing.

The position requires completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, state radiology registration, and ARRT registry; 18 months MRI experience preferred, ideally in critical care, and travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• ARRT registry in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Ensure patient safety around strong magnetic fields.
• Position patients and coils for scans and apply contrast as needed.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to issues.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
