Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Houston, TX is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This position offers 40 hours per week, with night shifts, and requires 1 year of MRI experience.

You will operate MRI equipment, ensure image quality, and assist radiologists. Must hold ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, be BLS-certified, and meet state licensing requirements where applicable. Travel healthcare staffing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical MRI experience required.
• Must hold ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS.
• State licensing as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality for interpretation.
• Prepare patients and ensure safety during imaging.
• Position patients and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and start IVs.
