Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time on-site Merchandiser to service multiple stores within the Daytona Beach area, with travel across the territory. This role operates under a designated schedule, with travel expected up to 100% of the time and supervision by the Supervisor of Merchandising.

The position includes a competitive wage of $15 per hour, travel time paid, and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products and replenish stock.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising; seek prior approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing tasks not listed herein.
• Other duties as assigned.
