Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores in the Daytona Beach area. The role requires on-site presence with travel, stocking shelves, and following planograms.

You will report to the Supervisor of Merchandising and maintain accurate time records. Ideal candidates have 0+ years in merchandising, strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and be detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and reliable attendance.
• Must have reliable transportation for travel.
• Familiar with Movista and related applications.
• Own cell phone/tablet; proficient with Word and email.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in stores following standards.
• Replenish products safely and efficiently; assemble displays as needed.
• Service stores on scheduled hours; obtain approval for overtime.
• Accurately log hours and communicate with Supervisor.
• Respond to store personnel requests with Supervisor approval.
• Other duties as assigned.
