Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple Destin-area stores with travel between accounts. The role is on-site, with compensation starting at $15 and travel time paid. Requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to follow planograms.

Responsibilities include merchandising to standard, replenishing stock, and recording hours via company apps. Travel may be up to 100% of the territory; background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product; may assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours; seek approvals before overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company information using designated apps.
• Discuss duties with store personnel with Supervisor prior to performing them.
