Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Bedford, IN seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores. You will travel between accounts, replenish stock, and set up displays following planograms.

Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask are essential. You will report to the Supervisor of Merchandising, work in designated stores, and complete hours with background checks, a 4‑panel drug test (THC excluded), and MVR clearance.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment, safely replenish products and follow store standards.
• Service all stores on designated weekdays within the schedule; obtain approval before overtime.
• Record work hours and information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing unlisted tasks.
• Work stores as scheduled and handle all product correctly, including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and maintain regular communication with Supervisor.
