Job summary

McClatchy Company in Bedford, IN is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores and travel between them. The role is on-site with travel up to 100% of the time and reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising.

You will work a scheduled weekday rotation, replenish stock, follow planograms, and record hours using company apps. Strong communication, reliability, and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail‑oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company's attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company‑required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in assigned stores following standards; replenish stock safely and efficiently.
• Service stores per schedule and coordinate with Supervisor; seek approval before overtime.
• Record work hours and related information using designated apps.
• Communicate duties with store personnel and Supervisor before performing them.
• Other duties as assigned.
