Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser for on-site work in New Albany, IN. You will service multiple stores, manage shelves, and follow company standards while traveling extensively across the territory. This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to use Movista and related apps.

Background checks and a 4-panel drug test are required. Wage starts at $15 per hour and may include travel time paid.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company's attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying store standards. Replenish product safely and efficiently.
• Service all stores on scheduled days within the hours set by the Supervisor, Merchandising.
• Contact Supervisor before working overtime. Record hours in designated apps.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing non-listed tasks.
