Job summary

NurseStar Medical Partners LLC is seeking a travel MedSurg RN for an assignment in Maine. The position offers a 13-week contract with extension option and a 3×12 hour schedule (6p–6a or 6a–6p). Start ASAP with EPIC EMR and all-inclusive travel.

You will assess patients, administer meds, manage IV therapy and wound care, and support respiratory and GI care. ME or Compact license required; BLS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN or med-surg nursing experience required.
• 4 years of RN med-surg experience preferred.
• ME or State Compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and monitor vitals each shift.
• Administer oral, IM, subcutaneous, and IV medications, including antibiotics and IV drips.
• Start peripheral IVs, manage central/midline lines, draw labs, and operate infusion pumps.
• Perform sterile or clean dressing changes for wounds and incisions.
• Manage Foley catheters, NG tubes, ostomy care, and monitor GI bleeds.
• Provide respiratory care including oxygen therapy and tracheostomy care; monitor COPD/pneumonia flares.
