Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Portland, Maine. Start date is 01/04/2026 for a 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift. Travel status requires ME or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Role includes standard hospital responsibilities, a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule, and a 90-mile local policy. Benefits beyond salary are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience.
• Must provide driver’s license at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Contract length with 13-week assignment.
• Care for general Med/Surg patient populations.
