TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lancaster, OH. This MedSurg/PCU RN role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, with 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities include bedside assessments, medication administration, dressing changes, and discharge planning, with patient and family education throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for MedSurg/PCU patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Change dressings, start IVs, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
