Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for PCU in Lancaster, Ohio. This 13-week assignment offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour night shifts. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care following the nursing process and facility policies.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program with Ohio license and CPR certification; previous RN experience preferred. ARMStaffing provides benefits, onboarding support, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous registered nursing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
• Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway.
• Educate the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
• Document the nursing process/pathway accurately and concisely.
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Implement physician orders as written.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to the appropriate department.
