Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Canton, GA. The MLT will perform routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

The role requires one year of MLT experience and state Licensure when required, with preferred ASCP/AMT/AAB/HEW certifications and BLS. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Valid license when needed in compliance with state regulations.
• National certification through ASCP or equivalent such as AMT, AAB, HEW certifications (preferred).
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) (preferred).
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology.
• Prepare and process specimens with proper labeling and handling.
• Ensure accuracy of test results by following quality control protocols and SOPs.
• Communicate test results clearly to healthcare professionals.
