Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Orem, UT. The MLT will perform routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

The role requires one year of recent MLT experience and state license where required. Preferred qualifications include ASCP/AMT/AAB/HEW certification and current BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Valid license when needed in compliance with state regulations
• National certification such as ASCP/AMT/AAB/HEW preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology
• Prepare and process specimens with accurate labeling and handling
• Ensure accuracy of test results by following quality control protocols
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot as needed
• Communicate test results clearly to healthcare professionals
