ConnectedHealth is seeking a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist for a part-time, 8-week assignment near Freeport, Illinois. You will perform a broad range of tests across blood bank, hemostasis, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology while earning up to $1,500 weekly and enjoying comprehensive benefits.

You will provide accurate results, maintain meticulous documentation, and collaborate with a team to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• ASCP or AMT certification and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years generalist lab experience with strong phlebotomy and blood bank expertise.
• Ability to work nights with rotating weekends; flexible schedule; reliable transportation; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing services in blood bank, hemostasis, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all laboratory procedures, results, and quality control activities to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure smooth workflow, troubleshoot equipment issues, and optimize testing efficiency.
• Execute phlebotomy procedures and blood bank activities with precision, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Adjust work schedule flexibly for night shifts and rotating weekends, ensuring coverage and meeting facility needs consistently.
