Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Lincoln, ME. The MLT will perform routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, ensuring accurate results.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of MLT experience, a valid license if required by state regulations, and ASCP (or equivalent) certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent Medical Laboratory Technician experience.
• Valid license when required by state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology.
• Prepare and process specimens with correct labeling and handling.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of results via QC protocols.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines (AABB, CAP, FDA, CLIA).
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Communicate test results clearly to healthcare professionals.
