Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Resource Team Medical Assistant to assist providers in back office duties across Renown Medical Group and Urgent Care facilities. The role requires travel to multiple sites to cover vacancies, leave time, and sick calls, with potential front office support as needed.

Responsibilities include patient care, vital signs, documentation, and coordinating referrals. Must be flexible to float to all facilities and maintain patient-centered communication.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in a provider office practice required.
• Current AHA BLS/CPR required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/AMCA or EMT certification (various) required.
• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must possess or obtain computer skills to complete online learning and forms.

Responsibilities

• Escort the patient from the waiting room to the examination room promptly.
• Take vital signs as per guidelines.
• Maintain examination rooms’ stock.
• Documentation of all patient communications.
• Prepare lab specimens for processing.
• Fill out referral forms and keep records.
• Schedule patients for tests.
• Return phone calls in order of importance and file into patient charts.
• Administer treatments and medications per provider order.
• Float to all Renown facilities as business needs dictate.
