Job summary

Neuhaus Foot and Ankle in Middle Tennessee is seeking a travel medical assistant for a full-time, M-F schedule (7:45 am–4:45 pm) to support our foot and ankle doctor. You will prepare patients for exams and procedures and assist with administrative tasks across clinics.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, documenting histories and exam findings, verifying benefits, preparing labs, and answering phones.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time patient-facing experience or 2 years in high-volume customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Positive, empathetic and team-oriented attitude.
• Professional, friendly, with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients from waiting room to treatment room.
• Document patient history and physical findings as dictated by the physician.
• Verify benefits for in-office procedures and related supplies.
• Prepare lab work to be sent and assist the physician as needed.
• Answer phones and follow up with patients during non-clinic time.
• Travel to other clinics as needed and support team members.
