Job summary

Neuhaus Foot and Ankle in the South Nashville/Brentwood area seeks a travel medical assistant for full-time, 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m., Mon–Fri. You will assist the physician, prepare patients, and handle administrative tasks to keep clinics running smoothly.

Key qualities include being task-oriented, a strong multitasker, with excellent communication and a patient-focused, empathetic approach. Travel to other clinics in the area is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a patient-facing role or 2 years in a high-volume customer service role.
• Must be task-oriented and capable of multitasking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional, friendly, with attention to detail.
• Willing to travel to clinics in and around northern Nashville.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms.
• Document patient history and exam findings as directed by the physician.
• Verify benefits for in-office procedures and DME.
• Prepare lab work to be sent and assist doctors as needed.
• Answer phones and follow up with patients during non-clinic time.
• Travel to other clinics as required and perform additional duties as assigned.
