Job summary

Zurich Cover-More is seeking a Medical Assistance Coordinator to support travelers with medical issues abroad, coordinating care, arranging prescriptions, and managing medical travel logistics. You will liaise with providers and global partners to ensure timely, appropriate care while delivering empathetic client service.

The role requires strong communication, calm under pressure, and attention to detail, with a hybrid schedule offering both in-office and remote work and a shift differential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, call-centre, healthcare coordination, travel assistance, or other client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from clients experiencing medical situations while traveling, from minor concerns to urgent needs.
• Provide calm, clear guidance and emotional reassurance to clients and families during stressful situations.
• Coordinate medical services including doctor referrals, facility referrals, prescription replacements, and travel arrangements.
• Liaise with medical professionals, hospitals, clinics and global partners to ensure appropriate care is arranged.
• Apply critical thinking to assess situations and determine next steps within policy and guidelines.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Document case details and interactions in case management and policy systems.
• Contribute to a consistently positive, professional and empathetic client experience.
