American Traveler is hiring a Med-Surg/Telemetry RN for a Level 1 trauma acute care unit in Washington. Requires a WA or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience. A copy of the driver’s license is required for consideration.

The role involves 18 beds with 1:4–1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios and 1:9 CNA ratios, with patient populations including CHF, DM, UTI, sepsis, HTN, COPD, and end-of-life care. Shift is nights, 12-hour shifts (7p-7:30a).

Qualifications

• Active WA or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience required.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, with employment dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Med-Surg/Telemetry unit within an acute care Level 1 trauma hospital.
• 18-bed unit with 1:4/1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios and 1:9 CNA ratios.
• Patient population includes CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life care, and placement awaiting.
