Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Telemetry assignment in Washington. The ideal candidate has travel nursing background, an active WA license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and Epic EMR experience.

Duties include direct patient care on a cardiac/telemetry unit with 1:3–4 ratios, night shifts, and potential unit floating. Responsibilities emphasize assessment, planning, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown/telemetry experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Experience with respiratory care and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Care for cardiac/telemetry patients requiring continuous monitoring in stepdown.
• Maintain patient ratios around 1:3–4 and provide direct nursing care.
• Document and monitor care plans; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Work night shifts: 3x12 hours, 18:30–07:00, with possible floating.
• Adhere to hospital standards and participate in quality initiatives.
