Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Tele RN for a night shift in Colorado. Candidates must hold a CO or Compact RN license and NIHSS competency, with current BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience.
The unit is 36 beds in a Level 3 trauma facility with 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, and weekend/holiday coverage. EPIC EMR is used; travel-friendly benefits include housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and per diem.
Qualifications
- Active CO or Compact RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience.
- NIHSS competency required.
Responsibilities
- Acute care Med/Surg & Tele unit with 36 beds in a Level 3 trauma facility.
- Patient ratio of 1:4 with nurse aide support at 1:5.
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts.
- Self-scheduling with block scheduling options.
- Weekend shifts and holiday coverage required.
- Floating as needed and possible within Zone 3.
- Collaborate with care team to manage patient assignments.
