American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute care night shift position in Colorado. License validation (CO or compact) and BLS are required, with at least two years of acute care experience and telemetry interpretation skills.

A driver’s license copy is needed and references must be provided. The role involves 37-bed Med/Surg units, 12-hour night shifts, and rotating responsibilities including potential float to ICU/PCU/Stepdown, with Epic EMR usage and housing/travel

Qualifications

• Active Colorado or Compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Competent in reading telemetry strips.
• Not required to titrate drips.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one from within the last 3 years, with employment dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Med/Surg unit (37 beds) treating trauma, oncology, and general medical-surgical patients.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights.
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts.
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available.
• Minimum six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Floating may be required to ICU/PCU/Stepdown and related zones.
• Nurse aide support at 1:12 ratio.
• Uses Epic EMR and Philips telemetry monitoring.
