TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Clinton, Indiana. The nurse will conduct patient assessments, document findings, and educate families as part of ongoing care in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with nights, 12-hour shifts, and a tax-free stipend; hospital and facility expectations are to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for varied Med Surg patients.
• Assess patients and document findings; monitor and respond to changes.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
