Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Crestview, Florida. The assignment is a 13-week travel role on a 2 South stroke unit, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). Floats to other units may occur based on facility needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida license (or multi-state), BLS, NIHSS, and 2+ years of MS RN experience, with stroke experience preferred. Start 10/12/2026; end 01/11/2027.

Qualifications

• Valid active Florida state or multi-state RN license
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification and stroke experience must be included in submission

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care on a Medical-Surgical stroke unit
• Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
• May float to other units as needed
