Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Augustine, Florida. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

The RN will float among Med Surg units, delivering high-quality care on the 5th floor and handling diverse clinical situations in a fast-paced setting. Qualified candidates will hold a Florida license (or compact) with a minimum of 2 years on Med/Surg Float RN experience, EPIC experience, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Florida license or compact license required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Float RN experience.
• Travel experience required; at least one assignment at Level 1 trauma facility preferred.
• BLS certification required; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float among Med Surg units to cover staffing needs.
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1 on Med Surg floors.
• Follow facility dress code and safety guidelines.
