Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Active RN license, accredited nursing program degree, BLS certification, and 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience are required. Travel benefits and credentialing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members
