Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and a 13-week duration.

The candidate must hold an active RN license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS certification, with at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg acute care experience. Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
