Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment in Illinois. The unit has 29 beds with a mix of private and semi-private rooms, and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5–6:1 on nights.

Requirements include an active IL RN license and BLS, with 1 year of RN experience. EPIC EMR experience is preferred, and IV starts may be required. Assignments start Sep 28, 2026 and run for 15 weeks.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Must be able to attempt IV starts using unit resources.
• Negative drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit.
• Float to similar med/surg units as needed.
• Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients.
