TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Med Surg in Urbana, IL. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and a BLS certification. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour workweek and night shifts.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Document findings and report changes to physicians.
• Administer and chart medications as prescribed.
• Assist with patient education and family communication.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during operations.
• Participate in discharge planning and education plans.
