Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Gallatin, Tennessee.

You will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical-Surgical unit, with a 13-week contract, 36 hours per week, and a 12-hour night shift. Start date 09/28/2026.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient monitoring, care planning with the team, patient & family education, and accurate record-keeping in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience; ability to float to other Med Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and information to patients and their families about treatments and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the electronic health record system.
