Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Tennessee. The position is night shift, 12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend.

The ideal candidate holds an active Tennessee RN license, BLS, and basic Med/Surg experience; post‑op orthopedic exposure is preferred. You will administer meds, perform assessments, and coordinate care with the team.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license.
• Basic Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Post-operative orthopedic experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct routine assessments and document patient status (Meditech Expanse).
• Perform blood transfusions and maintain IVs/central lines.
• Collaborate with unit secreteries and techs to support patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
