TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, ND. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 48 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Start date is 10/19/2026. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and BLS certification. Responsibilities include bedside assessments, administering medications, wound care, IVs, and discharge education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN in Med Surg/Telemetry with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required before start.
• Travel nursing assignment in Bismarck, ND.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op cases.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IVs.
• Educate patients and their families; participate in discharge planning.
